I can’t sign in
Work through whichever of these matches what you’re seeing.
“Confirm your email address before signing in”
Your account exists, but the email address hasn’t been confirmed yet. TruSync sent a confirmation link when the account was created.
Click the link in that email. If you can’t find it:
- Check your spam folder.
- On the sign-in page, choose Resend confirmation email and enter your address.
- Open the new link. It’s good for 24 hours.
Confirmation only applies to accounts created with an email address and password. If you sign in with Intuit or Google, you’ll never see this.
The confirmation link says it’s expired or invalid
Links last 24 hours, and each new one replaces the last — so if you requested several, only the most recent works.
Use Resend confirmation email on the sign-in page to get a fresh one.
Create Login asks for an email address
Your store platform didn’t share one with TruSync — Amazon, eBay and Wix don’t pass a seller contact address to apps. There’s nothing on file, so TruSync asks rather than guessing.
Enter the address you want to sign in with. You’ll get a confirmation link; direct sign-in starts working once you’ve clicked it. Reaching TruSync through your store platform keeps working throughout.
“That email address is already in use”
You already have a TruSync account on that address — most often from an invitation, or from a different store. Sign in with it at trusync.ai instead of creating a second one.
If you want both stores under that one login, ask an Admin in the organization to invite that address from Settings → Team.
“Invalid credentials”
The email address or password doesn’t match an account. Check for a typo in the address first.
If you originally signed up with Continue with Intuit or Continue with Google, there may be no password on the account. Use the same button you used the first time.
An invitation says I’m signed in with a different address
Invitations are tied to the exact address they were sent to. The page names that address.
Sign out, sign back in as the invited address, and open the invitation link again. If you’d rather use a different address, ask whoever invited you to revoke the invitation and send a new one.
An invitation says it’s expired or invalid
Invitations last 7 days. They also stop working once they’ve been accepted, or if the sender revoked them.
Ask whoever invited you to send a new one from Settings → Team.
I signed in, but I don’t see any stores
If you were invited to an organization, you’ll see its stores once you’ve accepted the invitation — check that you completed that step.
If you belong to more than one organization, use the store switcher in the header. Each store is labelled with the organization it belongs to.
FAQ
I’m sure I confirmed my address, but it still won’t let me in. Make sure you’re signing in with the same address you confirmed. If you have two accounts on similar addresses, the confirmed one is the one that works.
Can I get a confirmation email resent without signing in? Yes — Resend confirmation email on the sign-in page doesn’t need you to be signed in.
Someone else on my team can sign in and I can’t. Their address is confirmed and yours may not be, or they were invited and you weren’t. Ask an Admin in your organization to check Settings → Team.
I used a shared computer and ended up in the wrong account. Sign out fully and sign back in. Signing out clears the store you had selected as well as your login.
